KWANI’S 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY BOOK PARTY
In Celebration of Kwani Trust’s 10 Years; Kwani held a Book Party: the joint Kenyan launch of the novels: Dust by Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor (Kenya) and Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (Nigeria)—Friday 29th Nov 2013 at the Marshall’s Service Workshop/Warehouse. The Book Party also featured a 10-year visual art retrospective of Kenyan art featuring work by Wangechi Mutu (celebrated Kenyan artist based in the US), curated by Mbithi Masya (of Just A Band).
