The alternative R&B singer, Jeff Akoh, signed to Temple Management launches “Water & Fire” debut single from his brand newly released album “LOKOJA” in East Africa. He becomes the first artiste to launch his music under the newly unveiled Temple Management and Roc Nation partnership. In collaboration with Roc Nation, Temple Music is also releasing Akoh’s new album globally on all digital platforms—officially becoming the first offering from Temple Music – a sister firm to Temple Management Company (TMC).
Speaking on the single produced by award-winning music producer, Tee-Y Mix, an elated Akoh says, “I am thrilled to release my debut single under the Temple family and the fact that it gets a global audience is my dream come true,” adding, “All my fans should also cop my album and expect more great music coming!” The single is smooth dancehall tune featuring another Temple Management signee—Big Brother Naija Runners-Up, Bisola Aiyeola. The single is the first fruit of the newly formed partnership between the African and American entertainment powerhouses. With the Roc Nation touch, Jeff’s career is definitely set for bigger things. The American entertainment company is also home to international music heavyweights like Rihanna, Beyonce and Big Sean, among others.
East Africans will also be happy to get Akoh’s unreleased track “Halima” from the album that features acclaimed Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones. Speaking on the collaboration, Khaligraph says, “Working with Jeff has been a good experience! He is very talented and I was impressed with his music. Being featured on “Halima” and the fact that he wanted the OG to be in it is huge for me and I am very grateful for that.”
