The multi-talented Kenyan songstress Rosa has released a new single “Mchezo Ni Kwako” – produced by renowned Kenyan producer Dillie. The urban pop smash single has a touch of dancehall, showcasing Rosa’s versatility. In her own words – this is a starter to defining her style as Rosa. She says, “This is the first of my upcoming singles that will have a specific sound but still be versatile.”
Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, Rosa says “Mchezo Ni Kwako” is about letting someone take over a relationship and asking them to meet your expectations,” adding, “It’s a fun song that still has a very serious meaning when put it in reality and one that we can easily to relate to.”

The music video of “Mchezo Ni Kwako” is directed by one of the most sought after music directors, Team Mistari and was co-written by Opips and Jardel. As she continues to solidify her brand in Kenya and beyond, Rosa is currently planning on working with more acts in the industry and she is keen on those who share a vision and style similar to hers. She says, “It’s very exciting to finally have a direction to lead my fans and finally being able to fully define ROSA. I was inspired by the stage I’m in in my music career and definitely the things that have been happening around me. I’ve always done love songs but this is the fun version of all the previous ones. It’s a great depiction of my personality. All these factors influenced its creation.”
